Planning to Transfer ...Read This!

If you plan to begin your college education at one institution and later transfer to another, avoid unpleasant surprises-consult with the admissions staff of the first school you plan to attend and find out which courses will transfer.

Contact the admissions office to set up an appointment with a counselor to review your educational plans and to select courses that will transfer. Then visit with the admissions staff of the second institution you plan to attend. Planning now will save you time and money.

The North Dakota University System (NDUS) has a new policy that will help you. It's called the General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement (GERTA). To help students determine which courses transfer, the institutions have put together a document titled, "A Student's Guide to Transfer Within the North Dakota University System."
