Do you know what your creditors know about you? Is your credit report accurate?

Under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) consumers can request and obtain a free credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies.

3. Mail your request to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, PO Box 105283, Atlanta, GA 30348-5283

Once you receive your credit report, review it for red flags such as unauthorized purchases, new credit cards you didn’t request, unauthorized cell phone accounts, or any other suspicious activity.
